Man U Honours Ebenezer Obey At The Glo Evergreen Series Concert

Manchester United legend Andy Cole was on hand at the Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos on Saturday September 28^th 2013 to present a special Man U football shirt to Nigerian music legend Ebenezer Obey. This was at the invitation only Glo Evergreen Series concert sponsored by Nigerian telecommunications giant Globacom.

Glo was also presented with a special shirt by the Man U legend to commemorate the company’s 10^th anniversary.

The high profile event which also featured Nigerian acts MI and Yemi Sax was co-sponsored by Nigerian Breweries and Arik Air and had in attendance men and women from the top echelon of Nigerian corporate and social scene.

Kamal Shonibare, Head of Glo Post-Paid Sales Unit said the Glo Evergreen series was a platform which Glo introduced to celebrate and honour Nigerian and African music icons, while also rewarding Glo’s highly valued post-paid subscribers.
